Quería cumplir un sueño. Quería dar la vuelta al mundo. Afortunadamente ¡lo hice realidad! La mayor cantidad de combustible que utilicé en mi trayecto, fue la ilusión y confianza, los que hicieron posible, moverme por todo el Planeta. Ha sido increíble, hasta ahora me es difícil creer que lo he conseguido, sin tener mayores problemas en mi Camino.
El 8 de marzo del año 2022 inicié mi proyecto personal. Cómo mujer, periodista, escritora y promotora de los derechos humanos de las mujeres, le di un enfoque vinculado a nosotras, por lo que le llamé: Vuelta al Planeta por el Poder de las Mujeres.
Afortunadamente, he logrado recorrer 32 países, cuatro continentes, alrededor de 336 ciudades, cerca de 45 mil kilómetros avanzados, ininterrumpidamente, en dos años y cuatro meses. La mayor parte de mis trayectos los realicé vía terrestre.
Mi Camino se ha basado, principalmente, en visitar a aquellas más discriminadas, invisibilizadas y olvidadas, en especial de zonas rurales y territorios ancestrales del mundo. Fue un verdadero lujo, conocer y aprender de sus historias, sueños y culturas, particularmente en el término de los tiempos de Covid19. Ha sido un grito de socorro frente a las violaciones de los derechos humanos que sufrimos las mujeres en el mundo.
Este sueño lo dedico al insondable poder de las mujeres, que muchas veces el miedo lo adormece, pero siempre está vivo dentro de cada una de nosotras. Ha sido mi compromiso como ser humana y profesional llegar a donde es más complejo hacerlo y expresar lo que muchas ni siquiera saben que pueden ser escuchadas. Muy pronto publicaré mis libros con las historias y sueños de las mujeres que he logrado entrevistas durante mi viaje y el otro, con mis vivencias.
I wanted to fulfill a dream. I wanted to go around the world. Fortunately, I made it come true! The greatest amount of fuel I used in my journey was illusion and confidence, which made it possible to move around the Planet. It has been incredible, until now it is hard for me to believe that I have achieved it, without having major problems on my way.
On March 8, 2022 I started my personal project. As a woman, journalist, writer and promoter of women’s human rights, I gave it a focus linked to us, so I called it: Fortunately, I have managed to travel 32 countries, four continents, about 336 cities, about 45 thousand kilometers advanced, uninterruptedly, in two years and four months. Most of my journeys were made by land.My journey has been mainly based on visiting the most discriminated, invisible and forgotten people, especially in rural areas and ancestral territories of the world.It was a real luxury to know and learn about their stories, dreams and cultures, particularly in the term of the times of Covid19. It has been a cry for help in the face of human rights violations suffered by women in the world.
I dedicate this dream to the unfathomable power of women, which is often numbed by fear, but is always alive within each one of us.It has been my commitment as a human being and professional to reach where it is more complex to do so and to express what many do not even know they can be heard.Very soon I will publish my books with the stories and dreams of the women I have interviewed during my journey and the other, with my experiences.
